International language
support is now available for Screen Pass v4.0. It is
easy to add to your current installation or to
roll out with a new installation of
Screen Pass. The base version of Screen Pass is in
English, but with the inclusion of
an international language .DLL, the Screen
Pass dialogs and messages can be presented in another
language.
How to change from
English: Simply download the .zip
file for the language of your choice and extract
the Spasslng.dll to the Windows\System directory (System32 directory for Win
NT/2000/XP). The user dialogs will be presented
in the selected language. No
need to restart the
workstation.

Notes:
The language .DLL's can be used with
either the demo or the shipping version of the
product.
You should be running Screen Pass v4.0 with
the most recent patch applied.
The Screen Pass setup program will copy the
Spasslng.dll to the system directory if the .DLL
is present in the setup directory.
Screen Pass replaces
the Screen Saver tab on the Display properties dialog. If you are running
Screen Pass on an international version of
Windows and you do not have a
supporting Screen Pass language .DLL you should set the
"TextDisplayProperties" and "TextScreenSaver" values in the spsetup.inf
file before running setup.
This will ensure that
the Screen Saver tab is
replaced. See the comments in the file for more
details. |
